Course Summary

This course is for any individual who wants to create a change in their organization or community, whether or not you are in a formal leadership role. The content in this course is transferable across different roles and industries.

Throughout this course, you will learn the foundational skills needed to implement a change. You are encouraged to use your own change initiative to apply the course content. You will: 

  • Clarify the change you want to see and the role you want to play
  • Explore the environment where you want to implement the change and how that environment influences how you go about the change
  • Discover ways to bring people together around this change and mobilize support
  • Practice collaborative approaches to create a path forward
  • Explore strategies when experiencing resistance or conflict
  • Consider approaches to evaluate the progress of the change and where adjustments need to take place
